About the Role
We are looking for a strategic communications and/or public affairs professional with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing London Strategy team.
As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for playing a proactive role on a range of accounts and projects –
supporting Directors and Managing Directors to deliver on our clients’ objectives.
You will need to develop a strong understanding of clients’ core sectors in order to support and execute successful campaigns, using strategic messaging and effective tactics. A working understanding of the UK political and regulatory systems as well as familiarity with the UK media landscape is desirable, although we anticipate you will have the opportunity to work on projects spanning multiple jurisdictions. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable with data as you will have the opportunity to use our cutting-edge systems to support client strategies and outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing client relationships
  • Executing tasks for account team leads and senior management
  • Maintaining an awareness of current affairs and external developments, relevant to Penta business, and client objectives
  • Cultivating and maintaining a network of contacts within political / media / analyst / regulatory communities, relevant to Penta’s business and client objectives
  • Contributing to pitches and proposals and participating in delivering pitches and strategic presentations
  • Being proactive and a commitment to supporting the development of our Associates and interns
About You
You will ideally have worked in an agency environment, or an in-house or government/regulatory role, and are looking to take the next step in your career. We are looking for an ambitious and intellectually curious individual who is willing to embrace our emphasis on data and intelligence-led projects and campaigns.
